Last night, I shared my last supper with my friends in Atlanta. Mommy & I visited their place that had become so familiar to me, but it was completely different - a cat's heaven - boxes everywhere, stacked high, with plenty of places to hide!
We had so much fun! Uncle Chas ordered two large pizzas that they had no problem polishing off. Then, Aunt Crystal cleaned out the refrigerator & made Mommy take everything that wouldn't be transported to Knoxville, TN. This will be the first time we've had more than milk & kitty treats in our refrigerator in a long time! (Okay - I'm exaggerating, but not by much; we also have orange juice, diet coke, tea, butter, and cheese.) One could say that my mom likes to keep it to the bare minimum. As long as I have kitty treats and can share milk with my Daddy every morning, I'm happy.
When it was time to say, "Good-bye" and go home, I was very sad because I didn't know when I would see my friends again. And, I felt bad for them because I don't think they knew what was happening (they're not as worldly as I am). Aunt Crystal walked us (and our groceries) to the car. We were all a little sad, but friendship doesn't have boundaries so I'll see my friends soon.
