Grandma wasn't particularly happy about my first visit because, at the time, Barney (a canine - Bichon to be exact) was running the Smith household in Norfolk.  Nonetheless, I was allowed to come.  The moment Grandma saw me, she fell in love.  It's kinda hard not to!  We bonded quickly.  She had treats for me (I think she really did want to meet me!).  And, she's got this really cool motorized recliner.  When it's in its up position, it's a lot of fun to climb.  And, sitting on top of Grandma's curly white head became one of my favorite spots.  Daddy says it gives her a raccoon's tail.  The stairs in Grandma's house are awesome; very steep!  I really liked Grandma & it was neat to see where my Daddy grew up.  We slept in the same room he did when he was a little boy.  It still has his first teddy bear and his first train.  There's a lot of love in that house!  All kitty boys should have this experience!

We had a family meal.  Barney ate better than I did.  He got a Hungry Jack meal, for people, not to mention the food that Grandma fed him from  her plate; I got my kitten food - something about this just wasn't fair!  We watched TV.  When it was time for bed, I went up with Mommy, then came down to sit on the sofa with Daddy.  After Daddy went to bed, I exercised my nocturnal feline nature & roamed the house.  So  many places to hide - yippeeee!  I visited with Grandma, too.  My Aunt Crystal says that I'm an equal opportunity cat because I share the love by going from bed to bed.  That's just me - I like to share & I don't want anyone to feel left out.

We had an early start the next morning so I settled in with Mom & Dad until it was time to partake in breakfast.
