All in the course of a week . . . my string of unfortunate events!  My birthday present from Grandma was delivered last Tuesday, but Mom & Grandma decided that we should wait for Dad to come home before I could open it.  Dad was away fishing for two weeks.  He came home on Thursday; then, he & Mommy went out because Daddy was nominated for some award - Entrepreneur of the Year or something like that - must have something to do with his real job because I don't think Dad's up for too many fishing awards this season.  Can you believe they just left me?  Because it was so windy in the Bahamas, Mom & Dad decided that we'd spend the weekend in Florida instead of leaving me with Aunt Crystal while they were in the Bahamas; good old fashioned family time - just what I was craving - this did not happen!  Instead, I spent the entire weekend in the hospital because I may have swallowed an Aleve that could have killed me.  As Mom was putting me in my carrier for our ride to the doctor's office, my squirrel came to the window to play.  The squirrel probably thinks I've abandoned him.  I was going to get to fly on the new jet for the first time & missed out on that, too!  I'm not happy with this unfortunate string of events that I've just shared with you...sometimes, life's just not fair!  Catch ya' later!  --AJ the Kitty Boy
