Happy Belated Birthday, Aunt Suzie!

Tuesday was Aunt Suzie's birthday!  I wasn't allowed to attend the party because it was an adults only party, but I sent a card.  Aunt Suzie isn't as silly as some of my other humans; she didn't wear a birthday hat.  She looked beautiful, though!  Again, Happy Birthday, Aunt Suzie!

AJ the Pilot

Mommy was sick on Tuesday.  Daddy was sick yesterday.  It's a good thing I can't catch human diseases, huh?!

Very early this morning, Daddy & I left together, leaving Mommy at home alone.  It's rare that Daddy & I take a trip without Mommy.  Daddy & I are in FL now.  Mommy will join us tomorrow.  Guess what?!?!  I got to fly the plane this morning.  With a little practice, my landings will be better than Daddy's (since his still aren't so good)!  All of the gadgets & lights in the cockpit are cool; see below!

My girlfriend Tina will visit me today.  And, I get to meet Speedy tomorrow.  I'll tell you all about Speedy later.

Gotta run find all of my toys & play things since I haven't been to FL in a while.  Can you believe that Wahoo beat me home again?  I didn't even realize he was with us this morning.  He must have sneaked his way into the car & the plane.  Wahoo's my best friend, though, so it's okay!  Catch ya' later. --AJ the Kitty Boy

More Discrimination - What is it with the airlines?!?!

The last time I flew on Delta, the one-way fee had increased from $50 to $75.  You should have seen the look on Mommy's face when the agent said $75!  She was not happy!

And, can you blame her?  Not only do the airlines charge for me to fly, but - get this:

  1. My bag counts as one of Mommy's two allowed carry-ons.
  2. I have to remain in my carrier under the seat in front of Mommy.
  3. I don't get frequent flyer miles.  With all of the flights I've taken, I should have a free green pet tag by now!
Meanwhile, there are screaming children roaming the aircraft infecting everyone with their germs!  Children under the age of two can sit in their parents' laps for no additional charge.

Sometimes, life's just not fair!

Feline Discrimination from FaceBook!

It's a canine world out there . . . I've learned to live with that.  So has Mommy!  But, kicking me off of FaceBook & keeping me from building my fan club there . . . that's just insane!  See below . . . "Fake account" - as though I don't really exist, huh?!?!?!

Dear Facebook Administrator,

If possible, I would really like to be reinstated to FaceBook. I've enjoyed talking to other kitties so much.

I mean no harm . . . my parents are successful business people who would never try to hurt anyone through me.

I have my own blog:   http://ajsadventures.com , and am in the process of collecting content for a series of children's books in which the protagonist is a grey & white kitty boy - me, of course!

Talking to other kitties helps me to write . . . for instance, I made a girlfriend on FaceBook named Daisy Duke - she's a
beautiful orange & white tabby kitty girl . . .

Thanks for your consideration.

Gotta run.  Catch ya' later!

Everyone Comes Home from St. Thomas

My time with the guys was great . . . we had a new box to play in, a big box that one of Uncle Chas' birthday presents came in.  Uncle Chas drove me home to meet Mommy, Daddy & Aunt Crystal.  Yeay - they're home!  I got a passport stamp in St. Thomas.  Since I'm always close to my parents at heart, Mommy gets my passport stamped.  Seems like everyone had a great time!  See Mommy, Uncle Ed & Aunt Crystal below - they were at Jenn's Island Deli.

As I've shared with you, Daddy facilitates some pretty bumpy landings . . . I hear that my cousin Bryan had a pretty bad landing into St. Thomas; Mommy said it may have been worse than any of Daddy's . . . sad thing is - Bryan's actually the pilot!

Happy Birthday, Uncle Chas!

Today is Uncle Chas' birthday & fun with the guys begins!  I just don't understand my humans & their hats!  This morning, Uncle Chas posed for a birthday photo - doing - you guessed it - WEARING HIS BIRTHDAY HAT!  He's as silly as Aunt Crystal!

Happy Birthday, Uncle Chas!  Can't wait for you to come pick me up!

Tournament Update / Weekend Update

Daddy didn't win the Boy Scout . . . he came in second.  I think he also won second top angler . . . no doubt, this means Daddy will fish another tourney this season.  I think it's sort of an obsession!    You did good, Daddy!

This weekend is Labor Day weekend.  Mommy's friends always tease her because she plans her life around the holidays - every holiday is a reason to celebrate & plan a trip.  In my parents' 9+ years together, I think they've only not had plans for maybe one holiday.  Aunt Crystal always makes a joke, naming every holiday throughout the year . . .  New Year's Day, MLK Day, President's Day, Daddy's Birthday & Valentine's Day, Mommy's Birthday, Easter, etc...

Guess what I get to do this weekend?  It's an ALL BOYS' WEEKEND for me, Floyd, Thomas & Uncle Chas!  This will be fun!  Uncle Chas gets me; Mommy gets Aunt Crystal.  I'd say Uncle Chas is the lucky one!

Gotta run spend some quality time with my mommy since she's leaving me.  Catch ya' later!  --AJ the Kitty Boy

More Marlin & a Sleep Over

Mommy had to go out of town on business.  But, Aunt Crystal picked me up on her way home from work.  I sat in her lap the whole ride (okay - it's only a 7 to 10 minute ride, but I was such a good kitty boy . . . ).  I'm sleeping over with Floyd & Thomas tonight . . . it's not like we will sleep because ALL we do is PLAY!  I'm so excited; I really enjoy the time I get to spend with my buddies!

Daddy caught two more marlin yesterday & four today.  He's in first place right now!  Keep your fingers crossed that he stays there!  Just one more day, but the tables can turn very quickly!  Daddy says that Speedy is good luck . . . Speedy is Mommy's friend from Venezuela . . . Daddy stole him for fishing . . . that leaves Mommy without her Speedy!

Well, gotta get back to pouncing on the guys!

School is Keeping Us Busy!

My Dear Fans - I miss writing to you so much.  Mommy started going to school on 08/10 & that has kept me very busy.  Education is a priority & since there are no kitty schools, I've been reading Mommy's books - not really fun stuff, but I'm learning a lot, which is what education is all about, right?!?!  Mommy spends a lot of time reading & working on school stuff, not to mention her real job!  This leaves very little time for Daddy & me.  Mommy put a bed for me in the office where she does most of her schoolwork so I've been spending a lot of time in there, keeping Mommy company.  I like being by her side so it's not such a bad thing!  But, my computer is downstairs, which makes it hard for me to keep you all updated on my adventures.

On the note of education - my squirrels (yes, I have many squirrel friends now!) are giving me quite an education from what Daddy says.  He told Mommy & she was appalled at what the squirrel couples are doing.  I'm not sure what the big deal is, though.  Maybe one day, they'll fill me in.

Daddy's Doing Well at the Boy Scout

I don't know if Daddy was a Boy Scout when he was a kid, but he's certainly doing well in the Boy Scout leg of the Bermuda Triangle Series!

The Uno Mas Fishing Team caught four blue marlins & one white marlin yesterday!  That may be more than they caught during the entire BBC (Bahamas Billfish Championship), which is a series of five tournaments!  Yeay, Daddy!  I have to tell Daddy that Mommy expects gifts if he wins big!

Please wish my daddy luck.  I'd love to see him win!  Oh, yeah . . . I owe you the story as to how Uno Mas got her name.  Gotta go watch my squirrels & birds . . . I'll fill you in soon.
